Neutroglycerin can also be used to produce ChemFuel at the Refinery (although grass is probably still a faster and cheaper resource). And it takes boomrats 1 day to produce 1 bucket of neutroglycerin. It takes boomalopes 5 days to produce 10 buckets of neutroglycerin. Neutroglycerin is drained from boomalopes and boomrats, male or female. It takes 2 buckets of neutroglycerin to refine one bottle of neutroamine. Neutroamine is unlocked as a crafting recipe together with the Drug Lab (no additional research required), but will require a pawn with a minimum crafting skill of 8 to craft it. For a colonyвЂ™s internal medicine needs and modest drug abuse, a smaller herd (relative to colony size) should be sufficient. ItвЂ™s not impossible to make profits on drugs this way though, but may require large herds to get good stocks out of it. The Chemicals & Neutroamine mod is not designed for large scale drug operations to prevent making the trade of neutroamine entirely redundant.

The Chemicals & NeutroamineВ Mod enablesВ the extraction of neutroglycerin from boomalopes and boomrats that can be used to craft neutroamine. If you have enough silver, you can also call orbital traders.

The only way to obtain it is from cargo pods or waiting for caravan traders who may or may not have neutroamine for sale. As of Alpha 17, neutroamine is not a craftable item. It can also be used to produce various drugs such as penoxycyline and Wake-up. Neutroamine is an item that combined with herbal medicine and cloth in a drug lab becomes the standard medicine.
